2026!! Happy New Year folks! A few words: I wasn't entirely comfortable sharing new year wishes and party vibes without a thought for those who won't be celebrating much tonight. Without sounding too preachy (hopefully), allow me to share my state of mind and my concerns for the current times... As often when concerned and confused, I lean on favourite movies for comfort and meaning, and in this case will quote @thejeffbridges in @markpellington 's Arlington Road: "You can't ask gouvernement to be infallible, but you can ask it to be accountable" At this point, accountability seems to be all what's left... So I'll find some kind of comfort in the firm belief that leaders responsible for the current state of the world (by action or inaction), will eventually be held accountable. Another shot I created for the @francetelevisions Telethon (@telethon_france ) featuring the Eiffel Tower / @toureiffelofficielle , this time in full 3D. The logistics involved in filming around the Eiffel Tower were so constraining (even for the national TV network), that I had the idea of setting up a full 3D scene of the Tower and its surroundings in Stardust. After submitting a test render, the Production was sold and I was back in production for a new season. Although not fully accurate, my 3D setup opened enough doors (if only regarding camera moves) to get a green light. Set up, textured, lit and rendered in Stardust, with @plugineverything 's Deep Glow.
