Fascinated by band dynamics and the technical side of recording, an early introduction to professional audio lured Noah Bruskin towards the studio side of music production. After studying audio engineering and post production at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, he jump started his career as an intern at Playback Recording Studios, where he helped facilitate sessions for Katy Perry, Travis Scott, and various other major label recording artists.
After 3 months, he was appointed head engineer, a role in which he spearheaded projects for PINK, Olivia Newton-John and John Farnham, and Rebelution’s Protoje, the latter of which garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album.
His resume boasts collaborations with several high profile talents in the film industry, including Jeff Bridges, Oprah Winfrey, Rob Lowe, and Kevin Costner, as well as numerous entertainment networks, such as Apple, HBO, Skywalker Sound, Universal, and Sony.
In 2017, Bruskin began working as a consultant for Alan Parsons, eventually becoming the personal engineer for Parsons’ robust home recording operation, ParSonics Studio. Since joining ParSonics, his credits include remixing the Parsons-produced Al Stewart records Year of the Cat and Time Passages in 5.1 surround, as well as all of The Alan Parsons Project albums.
Between 2019 and 2022, Bruskin oversaw the renovation of ParSonics Studio, which included the integration of Dolby Atmos surround-sound technology. Most recently, he worked on Fletcher’s brand new album as well as Disney Pixar animation Elio.
