We were asked several months ago to be a part of @leagueclubnaples ‘s @naplestables What an honor! This two-day event is a wonderful charity gala to give back to local Collier County nonprofit organizations. We had to say yes!!! Art Reimagined 2025 Park Shores (co-designed with freelance floral artists: @kellycannondesigns and @evanbloodworth ) presents our table-take on Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” 💫 All of the tabletop you see here is available for purchase at our home and gift shop at Coconut Point.

Stay married to your wife because….hell is hot and forever is a long time!!! I joke but Meg is my second wife—and my first wife! Years ago we got divorced. Why? Well a laundry list of reasons I guess, but a couple of them are that I didn’t prioritize her *in love.* You can’t just check boxes. I “did so much” for her yet so little because I was focusing on how she made me feel. And this gets to the core issue which is that I’m messed up and need help to be “better.” I’ve had an interesting faith journey that has been long and very circuitous. But having a relationship with Jesus and having His help is the only way all good marriage can work. It took me way too long to realize that God just wants to love me, but I must let Him. If I receive it and will to love Him back, then I’ll love other people and even be lovable sometimes! And in the end, I’ll get to be with Him forever and I’ll neither need nor want absolutely anything else. Marriage and fatherhood is a high calling. It’s not something that we do “just because” or some other useless reason. It’s a vocation, a job in and of itself. And God is growing me closer to Him, my family, and others in the process. So don’t forget to pay attention to each other and go on dates and all that stuff because staying married is important and going on dates is essential 😇
