A few years ago my hip labrum tore in a car accident and doing something like this was out of sight! With surgery overall it took a year to recover from the injury.
That’s when I got into Pilates. I tried it and immediately felt stretched, stronger, and gained more endurance. Through consistency it helped correct my muscular imbalances and prevent overcompensating my stronger side.
I grew to love it because it actually felt like wellness. It was a mental workout just as much as physical. I felt and saw results. Through concentration, breath work, and controlled movement I built overall strength in all the places I never really focused on & gained more flexibility.
My current body is grateful I gave it a try. Thank God for discipline.

I fell in love with Pilates because honestly, it’s the most efficient. I didn’t need to already be in shape. I didn’t have to jump around to burn calories or lift weights to start seeing results. And I grew at my own pace.
There’s no other system like Classical Pilates… yes, the one from the 1900s lol. The way it focuses on spinal alignment & core stability improves how our body moves overall and injury prevention. It’s not as trendy, but it’s the blueprint.
