Ok, ready to forge a BBQ fork. 🔥🔨
This is a great beginner blacksmithing project that shows to the possibilities of shaping iron.
@pardeemetal is here teaching in
@penlandiron for 6 weeks, and his students have made huge strides.
The next step in creating this “Big Meat” BBQ fork is creating the more delicate neck. To accomplish this, he will add two fullerings which will then be drawn out through heat and hammering.
(Fullering: any forging process that creates a sharp transition.)
