“Reject” till 29.3.26
In the project Reject, Ester Parasková departs from serial production, steps outside her habitual format, and transfers drawing onto pieces of cardboard flattened boxes and their fragments. She constructs a wall-based assemblage, joined together with strips of packing tape. Working with this raw, essentially discarded material, Parasková emphasizes layering, mass, and texture, introducing an entirely new context to her drawn language. The anonymous surface of cardboard packaging stands in sharp contrast to the meticulous drawing and the vivid chromatic intensity of the pigments.
