One down…. Three to go….. they have been totally stripped, and the bodies and bits are currently in the ultrasonic cleaner… ‘again’…. New carb rebuild kit…. ‘Again’ I can be 100% sure that these carbs will be spotless! 👍🤞👇

Excited but also nervous excited :-) that’s the channel tunnel booked for the Iceland drive in under a month!! BUT….. it’s not me driving! The mighty defender will be in the ‘loving hands’ of my long term friend Andy. It’s gonna be a strange feeling ‘knowing the adventure he has ahead of him’ and not being a part of that journey… One is flying over this time as Andy wanted to drive and I wanted to offer the experience soooo 🤷 🇮🇸 🙂 🙂 just can’t wait to get there and start flying!!! 50adventures

New coils, leads and plugs fitted today. 50% success… it’s gone from 2 pots working to 3 pots 🙂 I have got some sea foam in the post and then I think a ‘spirited’ ride will bring number 4 to life 🙂 #fzr1000 #motorcycle
The joys of an old school motorbike… today has mostly been cleaning carbs ‘again’ 😂 still only firing on two pots so I’m going for the coils being at fault ‘I hope 🙂’
This bike has taken me on some amazing adventures! I have loved riding it. Today though is when she goes to her new owner in sunny 🇪🇸 ‘wish I was riding it over to him!’ The question now is….. what’s next?? 🙂 ‘I already know of course’ 😆 🏍️
