So y’all, I fed some old photos of OldSkool machines, owned, ridden, driven and flown by yours sincerely…as well as some other notable milestones into an algorithm….and I was immediately teleported and materialised back in the day 🧐
Although it was a bright and beautiful day yesterday, it was chilly. Now, as y’all know forced induction, as in Turbo engines love the cold (cold air is denser, containing more oxygen molecules per unit volume which allows the engine to burn more fuel, resulting in increased combustion efficiency)….but as there is no such thing as a free lunch, and with a car like the F40 loaded with zero driver aids, cold weather is of course detrimental to traction…yesterday, even with the roads bone dry, the car was losing traction… even in higher gears.
Nevertheless, a great day….Kav @oldskoolzimmers alpinan3 did an amazing job hanging on to the camera as the beast let go a few times.
Thanks for tarting up the beast Kav, and with only about 20% of the effort what an amazing transformation.
