It’s been amazing to watch
@john_john_florence challenge himself continually every year in some new way. It’s never boring; always inspiring. Learning to sail across oceans. Coming back from radical injuries. Winning a third world title. Then making the decision to do something else in his prime. This is the story of that decision and all the ups and downs that go with it. Thanks to

@erik_knutson_ who was a one man show on the boat capturing every angle and nearly every clip in this series, crab walking over dry reef and paddling through the surf with gear, swimming alone in deep blue waters, all while taking night shifts and playing uncle to the one year old on the boat. There are few in the world who pull off surf cinematography like he does. Thank you
@jarebutter who was the wizard on the keys, sifting through 100s of TBs of footage, cutting surf sections and scenes into memories, and finessing the finer parts of sound and color to make things seamless. Thank you to Spencer Klein who guided the story arc and direction of these episodes and the series as a whole, adjusting tones and themes while putting the pieces together in production to make it all come together.
