FORMLESS is now available everywhere ๐ฏ๏ธ
โFormlessโ is a triple-layered metaphorical piece that focuses on the finality of death and despair. It paints the grim world of one whoโs experienced the death of a friendship, the death of a loved one and also the death of the world that shaped the personโs being. The deep roar of the double dropped guitars and bass coupled with the ethereal synths and ambience create the distance between heaven and hell. The driving rhythm and groove provided by the drums and vocals depict the plane of suffering the protagonist exists on. โFormlessโ paints a picture of despair that, in its specificity, carved a different path both sonically and also artistically for the band.

An exploration of loss and grief by Parallel Horizons. Extracted from the mind of JR Gabuya. Produced by Parallel Horizons. Soundtrack for those in EXILE.
After seven years with the band, I am parting ways with Parallel Horizons. It's been an incredible seven-year journey, and I'm grateful for all the experiences and fun times we had together. Thank you Naseem, Shaun, and JR for not only being great band mates but amazing brothers as well! And a huge thanks to all our friends and the PHARKM Sanctuary crew.
I still remember all those years ago when I first saw Parallel Horizons live. Not only was I very impressed, but I was also inspired to play more music and be more involved in the local metal band scene. A few years later, they asked me to join the band as their bassist, and it's been an honor to share the stage with these guys for all these years.
Thank you to everyone who supported us over the years. Whether you streamed our music online or came out to our shows, it really means a lot. Please continue to support the band as they have new exciting releases coming soon!
As for me, I'll still continue making music with my new band (but more on that later on), so stay tuned!
Thanks for everything! @parallelhorizons ๐
Here's to new music in 2026!
After an incredible 7-year journey together, weโre announcing that our bassist and brother Aaron Mordeno is stepping away from the band.
This decision comes on the best of terms, and weโre excited for Aaron as he pursues new musical adventures. Weโve shared so many amazing moments and will continue to do so beyond the confines of Parallel Horizons.
The band will move forward as a trio and we have no intention of stopping. New music in production and weโre excited to share our vision with you.
With Love,
Naseem, Shaun, JR
