When I was in high school, I was really bothered by the fact that so many people hated getting their picture taken. 😥It was always an uncomfortable, awkward experience for a lot of people. 💡 I decided right then that I wanted to change that. People deserve a photographer who hypes them up, helps with posing, and capture how moments FEEL. I made it my goal to make photos FUN, EASY, and all about creating lasting memories. 📸📸📸 And 10 years later… my goal is to serve in this way. Why a Second Shooter is a game changer for your wedding photos ⬇️📸⬇️ - Multiple perspectives - Simultaneous locations covered (I can be taking photos of you while they capture candids of guests) - Seamless timeline flow Plus… 1️⃣ more opportunity for candid photos 2️⃣ creative variety in storytelling and angles 3️⃣ quicker timelines (planned photos can be done faster with two photographers directing; you get to the party sooner!) 4️⃣ peace of mind (two cameras are always better than one) If you’re on the fence, I would really encourage hiring a Second Shooter! Most of my packages include a Second Shooter already, because I believe in it so much! There’s no drawback if it’s in budget, and your gallery will thank you! My favorite thing is looking back at my own wedding photos and seeing candids of my guests hanging out that I missed with my own eyes. The 🔟 things I’m REALLY happy I did as a bride when I got married post-Covid in 2022! Ohh noooo number 6 didn’t save 🤣 6.) no wedding party photos! We love our friends, but we didn’t think it was necessary to do photos with everyone together; we would be happy with just photos of me with my Bride bridesmaids, and him with his Groomsman. Italian coast vibes for reallllll!!! Dana + Hunter exchanged vows at a private villa estate tucked above the coast of Laguna Beach 🤍 Dana and Hunter are two of the most kind-hearted, genuine people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with open arms, treating me like family. Their warmth and thoughtfulness extended to every guest, vendor, and team member, creating a wedding day that felt as joyful and loving as it was luxurious. They’re super laid-back, are constantly laughing, and make everyone feel so loved and treasured. As if I didn’t know already, guests kept chatting with me about how the bride and groom have touched their lives and impacted them in a meaningful way. 💍🌊🌅🚤🐚🦞🏛️ With ocean views in every direction, soft white florals, candlelight flickering as the sun set… everything about the day felt timeless and intentional. The architecture alone (marble details, grand columns, cascading water features) set the tone as soon as I walked in. A perfect summer day in every way! I felt like I was on vacation, truly. They exchanged vows overlooking the Pacific with a live string quartet, and not a single person made it through without tears. The reception moved onto the terrace where dinner was served surrounded by warm light and that kind of energy you can’t fake. The night ended with a packed dance floor, a spontaneous karaoke moment, and a Rolls Royce exit. One of those weddings that felt elevated and effortless all at once. ✨ It’s just so cool to me to capture major life moments like this for people who deserve the world. And people that I connect with so deeply! The way Dana and Hunter treat others and each other made this one of my favorite weddings ever.
