Peace family, your boy has made it to his 36th year of life…
35 was the year that forced me to feel, deeply. Navigating the Wins, Losses, Lessons, Hardships, Triumphs. Very necessary endings, unexpected new beginnings. Showing up and sharing myself in ways I could not anticipate. Moving with an open heart and mind, constantly reflecting, always challenging myself to be a better man. Grateful for it all. Excited for what’s next
We’re hoping you’re having a great day with family! Our beverage coordinator Toussaint / @papi_petnat is here to tell you a bit more about a favorite wine we have now at Commune💫 We reopen Saturday 11/29, come stop by for a glass of this delicious wine!
Cacique Maravilla
“Vino Naranja”2024
Moscatel de Alejandria
Bío-Bío Valley, Chile
Located in the village of Yumbel in Chile’s southern Bío-Bío Valley, Cacique Maravilla is one of the oldest continuously operating family vineyards in South America, founded in 1776 — the same year as the United States’ independence. Today, seventh-generation winemaker Manuel Moraga Gutiérrez continues his ancestors’ legacy, crafting soulful, low-intervention wines from dry-farmed, pre-phylloxera vines, some over 250 years old. The 16-hectare vineyard rests on fertile volcanic trumao soils, surrounded by orchards, gardens, and animals that form a vibrant polyculture. Manuel farms organically and uses traditional methods — hand-harvesting, bamboo zarandas for de-stemming, and native Chilean oak (Raulí) vats for fermentation. No fining, filtering, or added sulfur ensures wines of purity and authenticity.

2023, what a year you were.
Reflecting on it, I’d say it was my most successful year so far. And not in terms of professional achievement, but certainly in personal fulfillment.
A year spent making deliberate changes, and living more intentionally. Finally applying years of learnings and lessons - admittedly, some that came from pain caused to others - to a more purposeful way of thinking, engaging, living. I know the work has to be constant, and I will make mistakes. But the clarity I have, and the comfort I feel within myself, is peace I’ve not felt before.
Shout out to all my loved ones, my people. Y’all inspire me immensely. Thanks for always seeing the best in me, and allowing me the space to be on this journey - you know who you are, and how I feel about you all individually. I’ll never stop showing & telling y’all.
I look forward to reengaging with you all here, to sharing some of the moments and people that fill my life with joy & pride. I hope to meet more of you IRL, as many of you intrigue and inspire me as well.
Peace and love to you good people, and a very Happy New Year to all of you ❤️
