For years I’ve watched my peers take the stage at North by Northeast Festival, one of Toronto’s biggest music discovery festivals. I always admired it from a distance but never had the chance to tap in or attend the conferences.
Now I’m proud to say that this year I’ll be performing at NXNE.
Since 1995, NXNE has been a platform known for spotlighting emerging artists and shaping the next wave of music in the city. For a long time it has been a space largely dominated by English music, so as a Latino artist in Canada, it means a lot to step on that stage and represent my culture, my language, and my community.
This moment is bigger than me. It’s for everyone who believes Latin music has a place in every room and on every stage.

Had @djkalli__ in the city for the weekend from the nightlife to TRPKL Session 9, to legendary studio session with the goats @justideasmusic at @universalmusicgroup studios.
What a crazy weekend that was 😴😵 I want to say thank you for all the support. Thank you for the ones that popped out and made everything more memorable. Love you guys!!

I want to thank everyone who been a part of this journey with me. Everyone that has been there through the ups and downs. I can’t even began to put my thoughts into words of how much I appreciate you.
