I always try to push myself when I start to write a new record, both thematically and musically, and this was no different. It was a ball ache. Throwing myself into an increasingly more electronic direction was liberating. And it feels pretty good to have this thing out there.

Last week was a wild first for me!
A fan of mine from Tucson, Arizona called Justin messaged me saying he was going to be in Glasgow on May 14th, and wanted to meet me and grab a vinyl copy of the new album from me in person.
THEN... he dropped the bomb shell that he manages Machine Heads merch (yes, THAT Machine Head) and would get me on the guest list for the show.
Obviously, I obliged!
Justin has been a fan since before my first album came out in 2020, and it was extremely humbling to meet someone from the other side of the Atlantic fucking ocean, and is just into the music I make.
A very cool experience 🥹

Somehow, it's already been (nearly) a whole week since the album launch.
Thanks a lot to everyone at @swg3glasgow for making the night go smoothly, and everyone that came along & grabbed some merch ♥️
We opened with a new song called "Bored of It", where I take umbrage with being bored in a world where the entire human race's history & artistic output is literally at your fingertips.
If that's not enough for you, then you're probably really boring.
