Honestly, this has been a journey.
I don’t regret starting kickboxing/gym at all. It’s challenged me emotionally and physically in ways I didn’t expect. There were times I wanted results instantly… and when I didn’t see them, it discouraged me.
Being a hard gainer made it feel almost impossible to keep going. But the community kept me grounded. Even with battles outside the gym, I showed up.
Now a year later, the gains are slowly coming.
Nothing crazy — just progress.
Learning to be patient with myself,
to keep lifting,
and to embrace this as a lifestyle, not a race.

2025 humbled me, stretched me, and grew me in ways I didn’t expect. I learned to slow down, to listen, to choose growth over comfort. At the same time, I got to walk another year of life with my son — learning fatherhood, love, and patience side by side. Sharing a birthday with him is my greatest reminder of purpose. Grateful for the lessons, the healing, and the journey. Happy birthday to us 🎂🤍
