These are independent, often feral-leaning or semi-feral cats who are not going to be lap cats… but they can thrive in the right outdoor setting. We’re currently looking for barn homes, workshops, stables, or safe outdoor spaces where these cats can live freely while also doing what they do best: natural rodent control and pest management. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱: 🏠 Safe access to shelter (barn, shed, outbuilding, etc.) 💦 Daily food and fresh water 🐈 A low-pressure environment where they can come and go as they choose ➡️ A caretaker who understands they’re there for a job, not affection In return, you get a hardworking little helper keeping your space naturally pest-free. We have dogs of all ages - from tiny puppies to sweet seniors - and every kind of personality, from laid-back couch potatoes to high-energy adventure buddies. Our foster team works closely with you to match a dog whose needs fit your home, lifestyle, and schedule. We provide all the basic supplies you’ll need, and most foster placements are short-term with flexible scheduling to work around travel or other commitments. He’s sweet with everyone he meets, super outgoing, and has that happy-go-lucky puppy energy that makes every day more fun. He loves his toys, has the prettiest coat, and is always ready for attention or playtime. Forrest came to us as a stray and is still figuring out what exactly a leash is—but he’s learning fast! He’s also met other dogs here at the shelter and has done great with them. He came to us after his owner was unfortunately no longer able to keep him, but it was absolutely no fault of Toby’s. He’s a mellow, easygoing guy who still has that classic water-loving Lab spirit and is happiest just hanging out with his people. She’s a playful, sweet girl who loves spending time out in the play yard, where her fun personality really shines. Her previous owner shared that she does well with both dogs and cats, making her a great potential fit for a variety of homes. She’s also house trained, which is always a wonderful bonus for her future family. Artemis can be a little nervous when it comes to going into her kennel or a crate, but with a patient and understanding person to help build her confidence, she will thrive. Misty is the more outgoing of the two - she’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and loves making new friends. She has a soft, loving personality that makes her easy to fall for and would make such a wonderful companion. Jaxon is a little more shy at first, but once he warms up, he is just as sweet. He just needs a confident person who will help show him the world at his own pace and let him build trust in his own time. With patience and love, Jaxon will be an incredibly loyal best friend.
