NANA me dijo una de las cosas más bonitas que me han dicho nunca sobre mi arte.
Fumando solos en la puerta de Malandar, me dijo que le había encantado mi último reel.
Entonces le pedí que desarrollase porque me interesaba mucho su opinión.
Se quedó pensando, la poseyó la poesía y me dijo:
"CADA LÍNEA ES UN VIAJE, eso es lo que pienso cuando te veo dibujar."
Le sonreí con cariño, le pedí permiso para usar esa frase como bandera, me dijo que sería un placer para ella, terminamos nuestros cigarrillos y entramos al local a seguir riendo y disfrutando de la noche con nuestros amigos.
Todavía la escucho diciéndomelo.
Se la echa de menos. A veces me pasan cosas y pienso, qué me diría Nana sobre esto. Siempre tenía un punto de vista diferente y certero que aportaba.
Este es mi humilde y particular homenaje a lo que ella era, una artista de la vida que siempre sabía dar una nota de color a nuestras vidas.
Esta obra se llamará NANA porque he disfrutado de cada línea mientras viajaba con ella.

"Every line is a journey"
That’s what Nana always said whenever she saw me drawing.
One night, when we were smoking alone outside Malandar, she told me she’d loved my latest video. So I asked her to tell me more, as I was really interested in her opinion, and she said one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about my work.
"Every line is a journey, Jose Manuel"
She didn’t need to say anything else. I smiled at her affectionately, told her that phrase was going to be my motto, she said it was a pleasure for her, we finished our cigarettes and went into Malandar to continue enjoying the night with our friends.
I can still hear her saying it.
I miss her. Sometimes things happen to me and I think, what would Nana say about this? She always had a different and special perspective to offer.
This is my humble and personal tribute to who she was, an artist of life who always knew how to add a splash of colour to our lives.
This piece will be called NANA, because I’ve enjoyed every line, travelling with her as I drew them.

Os recuerdo que sus alas simbolizan la libertad, porque así es como me gustan los toros, libres.
Mañana estará rumbo a Galicia, que lo disfrutes mucho Niña Zebra :)

Mañana estoy en el mercado EL JUEVES con algunos de estos dibujos.
Desde que hice el vídeo hasta hoy, alguno que otro ya está vendido o reservado, pero la mayoría de ellos estarán allí mañana hasta las 14:00.
