Wednesday marks our debut at SP–Arte.
We express our gratitude to everyone who made this possible through their support, partnership, and dedication.
Alongside the painted wood series, we present a new ceramic collection.
The works explore the repetition of cylindrical forms, varying in scale and tone, while preserving intentional material imperfections.
The pieces are arranged in vertical compositions, ranging from intimate to architectural.
In some, ceramics combine with linen and silk; in others, light acts as a structural element.

Next week, for SP–Arte in São Paulo, Lucas and I are presenting new work for the first time in our own dedicated booth, under the name Dualde Cornelsen.
Among the work is a group of lamps crafted from split wood, then hand-painted by my father, Jejo.
Pushing the pieces closer to sculpture while remaining functional, each element is split by hand and assembled into vertical compositions that shift in scale and proportion, resulting in three typologies: a table lamp, a floor lamp, and a more expansive piece that extends from floor to ceiling, its central shade subtly referencing the language of George Nakashima. In the remaining works, shades are crafted from hand-embroidered
textiles.

artesanalmente, assumindo
geometrias deliberadamente desestruturadas.

I’m thrilled that @wallpapermag featured 2 of my furniture designs for the Conversa exhibition I did with my father @jejocornelsen at @verso_works #palixistocornelsen
Furniture pieces by Brazilian multidisciplinary designer Pali Cornelsen as part of ‘Song of Chloris’.
Cornelsen’s work beautifully captures the tension between contemporary minimalist restraint and the expressive material and formal richness that defined South American modernism.

Thank you @wallpapermag for including me alongside my father, artist @jejocornelsen , on the USA400 list!
