We’re hosting a private early screening at Baxter Avenue Theatres (Theater 7) — a place that holds real nostalgic meaning for me. I grew up watching films here, and it’s always been a dream to one day screen my own.
This is an intimate, in-person event with extremely limited seating, reserved for friends, family, and anyone who wants to experience the film up close with the people who made it.

The weekend after Thanksgiving was our favorite time to play a hometown show at @headlinersmusichall . We always had a blast with all of our friends and family. I invite all of you to come out and celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Night on Fire on Saturday November 30th at Headliners for one night only. We’ll be playing songs from Night on Fire and Bring on the Comets, so come out and see if these old dudes can still make you dance!
I’m so glad this is finally out in the world. I’ve known all of these guys since the dark ages. Pre social media, pre smart phone, pre algorithm. It’s wild to me that this exists in the world and that we’re all still friends doing our thing. I consider myself truly blessed. I really hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed making it. Cheers!🥂

🎬 Introducing The New Hire
This one’s special.
I’m beyond excited to finally share the official poster for our new short film, The New Hire.
I co-wrote this dark horror-comedy with my childhood best friend, Matthew Summersgill, about a very lonely man who has lots of trouble separating the line between “work friends” and “work family.”
As luck would have it, Michael Fitzer not only believed in the script — he jumped in as DP, producer, location wrangler, and overall creative engine. The man brought the best crew Louisville has to offer, and the entire shoot was pure joy from start to finish.
The real magic was in the performances.
Hands down, the best performances I’ve ever had the honor of filming. Everyone "got" their characters and just crushed it.
Funny thing is, we didn’t exactly mean for it to be as funny… but every test audience has been laughing way more than expected. I’ll take it. 😂 (And as per usual, Lindsey is the chronic scene stealer)
So please mark your calendars for Dec 17th, Louisville.
One night only. I will have ticketing information in the near future.
I’d love to see our whole crew, friends, and family come out for this one.

Please join Ben Daughtrey and myself at High Horse Bar this Sunday for the premiere of Refraction, a short horror film made in southern Indiana.
