Vi är glada och hedrade över att vara nominerade till Guldstolen i inredningsarkitektur av Sveriges Arkitekter för Bacchanale i Stockholm! Bacchanale är ett samarbete mellan mig och Ateljé Ö @atelje_o där vi utvecklat inredningskonceptet och arbetat på plats med möbler och rumsliga element. Specialtillverkade detaljer som möbler och lampor, samt en gjuten bardisk, har formats som en integrerad del av helheten. Projektet tog avstamp i “dig where you stand” – att arbeta med det befintliga och låta materialen mogna genom användning. Between 2022 and 2026 I worked as a lecturer with a focus on materials and construction in the Interior Architecture & Furniture Design programme at Konstfack. During this time I taught woodworking, supervised in the studio, produced exhibitions, and contributed to the development of the subject. Through my collaboration with students and colleagues, I have had the opportunity to deepen my exploration of how spaces, objects, and atmospheres can foster a sense of safety and enable meaningful encounters. This experience has strengthened my belief in the importance of material and construction, as well as the value of craft, pedagogy, and collective knowledge in striving for sustainable processes and broader perspectives on what form can represent and communicate. It is intended to be buildable by everyone, regardless of prior experience.

Vi börjar om, vi gör något nytt och vi gör det tillsammans. @frammat_sthlm @bacchanale_sthlm och @soyokazestockholm öppnar krog tillsammans. Vi vill här med visa vad vi har gjort och vad vi gör. Planen är att vi ska servera 5-7 salta rätter och @soyokazestockholm @baagie.baagie serverar sashimi, nigiri, maki och temaki och allt sånt. Vi öppnar i månadsskiftet augusti/september. @atelje_o och @pal_r hjälper till med formgivning.

The relationship between Kooi’s and Schimmel’s works is like a reversible figure, an inversion, a reversal from large to small, from the outermost to the innermost and back again. Roland Schimmel’s precisely placed, molecular circular forms find their counterparts in Kinke Kooi’s hand-drawn round pearls, berries, and fractals, in the natural and artificial objects and structures of her paintings. Please save the date for...  𝓔𝓶𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓕𝓸𝓵𝓭 Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel 10 May – 10 August 2025 🎀Opening: Fri 9 May, 7 pm🎀  With a spatial concept by Astrid Kajsa Nylander and Pål Rodenius  Kinke Kooi’s (@kinkekooi ) and Roland Schimmel’s (@schimmel_roland ) studios have been situated next to each other for nearly 40 years. Despite their long partnership and their shared living and working space, they have not yet exhibited together. This may come as a surprise, as many of their artistic approaches, their visual worlds and perspectives are close to one another, complement or depend on each other, turn into, peel out along one another and, as they themselves describe it, have been created in close concord.  At @temporary_gallery , they are now coming together for the first time in a joint exhibition. The show includes paintings, drawings, computer animations and collages from the last decades to the present day, as well as a newly conceived wall painting for the space. BACCHANALE, Ringvägen 110 Stockholm Me and Atelje Ö have created an interior from the starting point “dig where you stand” which means that we relate to and highlight the characteristic features of the space and take advantage of its existing qualities. The collaboration between @atelje_o , the @bacchanale_sthlm team and me took shape in a rustic and functional interior with materials that are enriched and given character by the patina of use. I am very happy about the synergies that arose between our various crafts which resulted in the restaurant Bacchanale.
