Today, I pause… not just to celebrate a birthday, but to reflect on a journey that could have ended, but didn’t.
God, I thank You for Your faithfulness over my life. Not the kind that is loud or obvious all the time, but the kind that stays… even in the quiet, even in the chaos, even when I didn’t fully understand what You were doing. You have been consistent, steady, and present in ways I can never fully explain.
I remember the hot oil/fire incident… a moment that could have taken so much. But somehow, You stepped in. You preserved me, You covered me, What could have been tragedy became testimony and I know it wasn’t luck. It was mercy.
I remember that accident too… how it led me to a hospital bed, a place I had never been before. A place filled with fear, uncertainty, and questions I didn’t have answers to. But even there, You showed up. In the healing, in the strength to keep going, in the people You sent, and in the grace that carried me through every stage of that journey. You didn’t leave me there. You walked me through it.
There were moments I felt alone… moments I thought people had abandoned me. It hurt deeply. But with time came understanding. People were fighting their own battles, carrying their own burdens. And while I felt empty, You were still filling the gaps. You became my constant when everything else felt uncertain.

Today, I look back and I see it clearly—Your hand in every moment. In the things that didn’t break me, in the things that tried to, and even in the silence.
So on this birthday, I am not just grateful for another year. I am grateful for life… preserved, protected, and purposefully sustained.
Thank You, God, for mercy I didn’t deserve, for grace I couldn’t earn, and for love that never left.

Another year has come and gone, and in this stillness, I find myself reflecting on all the moments that have shaped me. Not in grand gestures, but in the small, everyday moments that remind me of the beauty of simply being alive.

As I stand here today, I thank God for another year to grow, to learn, and to embrace the simple joys of life. I am grateful for the strength, the wisdom, and the moments of clarity that come with each new day.
Here’s to another year of becoming, of walking with purpose, and of finding beauty in every step of the way. May this year be a continuation of the journey toward a better, more fulfilled version of myself.
