What an incredible moment for our Service Team at Thornhill Hyundai! Members of the Hyundai Canada Executive team joined our PAG Direct Chairman, Amin Kadrie to present the Silver Award for a Customer Experience video we created and submitted in the 2024 Hyundai CX Global Championship. Our team finished 2nd among 4100 videos created by dealers in 67 countries. It is the very first international award for Service for Hyundai in Canada! Van brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry to this exciting new role. This includes 15 years with Wiens Canada, progressing through sales leadership roles in both the Toyota and Lexus brands, eventually taking the reins as General Manager of Don Valley North Hyundai in 2008.
More recently, Van’s stand-out ability to train high-performing teams and build successful dealership processes took him to Mercedes-Benz Canada where he served as General Manager of both Mercedes-Benz Markham and Midtown.
