During the first years of the D1 Gran Prix drift series we saw an always evolving grid backed by Japan’s best tuning shops, one of them being Blitz, competing with a Nissan Skyline ER34 with Ken Nomura behind the wheel.
The mix on car choice between competitors as well as the wide variety of budgets from big companies to privateers entering their local shop or garage built cars kept the championships full of flavour and inspiration for car nuts all over the globe present to this day.
