During the Combe Car Meet, the team @paddock_life / @paddockspeedshop was working hard in pit lane prepping their car and testing for their upcoming 6h endurance race.
You’ll be able to follow their journey when they release their upcoming documentary. Don’t miss it!
A small showcase of gimbal shoots I shot at @castlecombecircuituk last weekend for the @paddock_life Car Meet focusing on a few of the display cars across the day. Over a hundred builds on show, each with its own style and detail. Alongside it all, there was also the chance to catch a TV show being filmed live.
Caught up with @ethanblakejones_ from the @paddock_life / @paddockspeedshop team at @castlecombecircuituk for a quick insight into where things stand right now. We touch on where the team’s come from, what went down last week, and how they’re recovering from it. Today was about getting back on track, putting laps in, and preparing for what’s ahead.
Vintage racing always brings its challenges, and the team are right in the middle of it. It’s all part of the process, and it makes for a story that’s far from quiet. With plenty happening behind the scenes and more to come next week, this series is shaping up to be anything but boring.
A different kind of day at @castlecombecircuituk . Not the usual race pace, but a more relaxed meet with a chance to get closer to what’s going on behind the scenes.
Spent time with @paddock_life / @paddockspeedshop as they worked through a tight turnaround after last week’s incident, getting the car ready and back out on track ahead of their upcoming endurance race.
A simple look at the people, the process, and the reality of racing. Have a watch.
Shoutout to @tobyallensdrones for the banging drone shot 🔥
Back at @castlecombecircuituk for the first meet of the season. The guys at @paddock_life / @paddockspeedshop were putting in laps ahead of their six-hour endurance race, running two cars and cycling drivers through to build confidence and familiarity. It’s the kind of work that happens quietly, away from the spotlight. Racing’s never straightforward, always moving, always changing. Being this close to it gives a different perspective. The side you don’t always see, but the side that matters. For those who came to check it out up close you’ll be able to say “I was there” when when the episodes hit your TV.
First car meet of the season at @castlecombecircuituk and the weather couldn’t have landed better. A more laid-back turnout, but that gave space to actually take it in. Had a chance to catch Paddock Speedshop filming for their series, which was good to see up close. Nice, easy start to the year.
