Rose + Reid are living proof that there’s no single right way to get married – only the way that feels like you. Earlier in the summer of 2025 I photographed their intimate elopement up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just the two of them, the mountains, and zero distractions. It was quiet, intentional, and exactly what they wanted. Fast-forward to October, Rose and Reid were back – this time with their people. They gathered friends and family at @packstavern in downtown Asheville for a laid-back wedding celebration that felt more like the world‘s best dinner party than a traditional wedding day. As an Asheville wedding photographer these are the nights I love most. Before heading inside, Reids large family assembled outside on the lawn for group photos (organized chaos in the best way). Once that was done, we snuck away for a few quick portraits. Nothing long or formal because the celebration wasn’t about timelines or perfection. They already had their private vows during their elopement. This night was about hugs, laughter, shared stories, and having all their favorite people in one room. Their @centuryroomonthepark celebration was relaxed, meaningful, and completely their own.

Had an amazing meal at @packstavern ! We started with their Spinach & Artichoke Dip, creamy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with crispy tortilla chips. For mains, the Chicken Marsala was rich and comforting, with tender mushrooms and smooth mashed potatoes topped with a savory marsala gravy. The Backyard BBQ burger was a standout too, juicy, smoky, and loaded with cheddar, bacon, and Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend if you’re in Asheville looking for great food and a relaxed, welcoming vibe!
