Come along anyway! John played a key role in the Tham Luang cave rescue in Thailand, where 12 young boys and their coach were dramatically rescued in 2018. The Count down for PackStock is on and the line up is in… 🗓️ PackStock 2026 Sunday 24th May The countdown is officially on and the sun has been booked! We have got some of our much-loved regular bands returning, alongside a couple of new acts making their debut with the PackStock crowd. 🎶 1pm to 1.45pm - Deux Filous Cat and D play Jazz Coquette: a mellifluous melange of chansons français, latin and swing. Double bass, guitar and clarinet: multilingual duets to make your heart sing. 🎶 2pm to 3pm - Coopla This duo rocks to a funk/groove/soul vibe with jazzy intros. Loads of great covers for you to sing and dance to. 🎶 3.15pm to 4.15pm - Rich and Lou Cover songs from the 60’s to modern day classics. Performing stripped back versions of songs you know and love, they create a big sound using guitar, cajon and soulful harmonies. 🎶 4.30pm to 5.30pm - Jess Chivers Jess will be playing some of her songs from her debut EP alongside a selection of well-loved classics. Plenty to sing and dance along to. 🎶 5.45pm to 7pm - The Artful Badgers An energetic local trio with double bass, guitar and fiddle, playing upbeat acoustic/roots songs ranging from gypsy-jazz and country-blues through folk-rock to bluegrass and Americana. Join us in the garden from 12.30pm onwards for a relaxed day of live acoustic sets. As always, garden seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A BBQ will be sizzling away in the garden, while our regular Sunday lunch service will be available indoors only, from 12pm to 4pm (please note that Sunday roasts will be served in our upstairs dining area which isn’t dog friendly). Head across to The South Bar, the heart and soul of the pub. Think live music, late night drinks, great atmosphere and relaxed dining with that proper pub buzz! At the top of the stairs you’ll find board games to help yourself to, the loos, and two more beautiful spaces — The Green Room and The Red Room — both ideal for larger bookings, private parties, events or just settling in for a long lunch or dinner with friends. And then there’s the beer garden… 🌿 Three levels, stunning views, grassy spots for sunny afternoons and a covered top terrace that works whatever the weather.
