In his first 1500m race since 2023, he stormed to victory at the Belfast Classic with a commanding run of 3:37.96.
That performance improves on his previous best of 3:39.14 đ

Early season wins for @j_prandini@ken_aye_@iamtrayvonbromell@matthudsonsmith . Jenna showed great early season from with a 100/200m double at the Desert Heat Classic in Tuscon clocking 10.97 (0.4) & 22.36 (-0.1). Kendra won the 100mH by a big margin clocking 12.65 (0.7). Trayvon won the 100m at the Alumni Muster in College Station in 10.03 (-0.4). Matthew Hudson-Smith won his heat of the 200m at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville in 20.51 (0.4).
@hellenobiri improved her personal best of 2:15.53 to finish 2nd in the @londonmarathon today behind @tigist__assefa âs womenâs only world record 2:14.41. Hellenâs time makes her the 12th fastest woman ever in the marathon.
