Het is in een studentenkamer in Tilburg, waar de nieuwe EP In Dirt Ambition Dies van alternatieve metalband @pacemakerband is geschreven. Een band die geboren is in de modder van Graspop en in alles metal ademt. Want komen we op de studentenkamer van leadgitarist Hidde de Louw binnenlopen, klinkt al gelijk grote inspiratie Linkin Park uit de speakers. De drums dienen hier als salontafel als later ook vocalist Carissa de Wit en slaggitarist Noah Schram erbij komen en we een openhartig gesprek hebben over de EP.
