Never in a billion years would I have thought this would be my reality, let alone with you.
My heart has been through some things. Cheated on, left behind, disregarded, and needing many repairs. Through it all, I praised God because I always came out on the other side. At one point, I wanted to give up on love, convinced that maybe I was a hopeless romantic 😭 BUT GOD!
Someone asked me for advice the other day, and I told them to never allow pain to be the reason you stop pushing yourself. I’m glad I didn’t allow pain to completely shut down my heart.
Thank you for holding me down just as much as I hold you down. Thank you for showing me what it truly means to have someone’s back. Thank you for being all about me just as I’m all about you. Thank you for being the calm to my scattered thoughts at times. Thank you for simply being you no matter what.
We took a chance and the Lord saw fit. I’m forever grateful and humbled. By the grace of God, I will do everything in my power to show up for you and love you as Christ loves the Church.
