Noema explores the intentional content of consciousness, the lived version of experience rather than the object itself. When beginning this series, Pawel Dudko approached the work with a desire not to rush the process, letting perception and thought unfold gradually. He reflects on how this shaped the early development of the series.
He explains that the creative process itself was not radically different from his usual approach. What changed with Noema was the decision to let certain pieces simply exist for a while. He did not share them or publish them. He just experienced them and then set them aside.
That choice had a profound effect on how the works evolved. When you step away from an image long enough, the memory of it begins to fade. What remains is a kind of distilled afterimage, the essence of what mattered, not the full, detailed record. The mind keeps only the essential structure.

Noema reflects on the essence of perception, how the world is processed and reformed within the mind. The term comes from the Greek noēma, meaning “thought,” “concept,” or “that which is thought.” In Husserl’s phenomenology, the noema is the intentional content of consciousness: not the external object, but the lived version carried within.

Gleam #1 is a part of the Natively Digital: Art on Bitcoin on Sotheby's.
Gleam is where it all started.
It's the first artwork that used particular algorithms to get even more control over light and color.
In the project I embraced the limitations but also possibilities given by better understanding of pure JavaScript coding and not relying on libraries.
The code is non-recursive and the inscription contains full HTML + JS, all squeezed in 7197 bytes (keeping code as small as possible) 😉
Traits are unique and generative and can be read in the browser console.
Gleam #1 is the lowest inscription number in the series — 566,881 (sub 1M).
And it is the only one inscribed by me 🧡

"MemFlux" consists of 25 color palettes and 5 visual modes that bring a wide variety of visual outputs. The sky feature is based on a texture that affects the image detail, introducing a more organic and diverse landscape of colors. The movement and interaction between elements result from collective behaviors and create a dynamic swarm of entities, whose aggregate parameters affect the overall image.

"MemFlux" is a generative approach to the artist's exploration of light as the essence of photography – a crucial factor in image creation. Vibrant lights react to each other's presence and create a visual play of abstract murmuration. Based on deterministic values behaviors change and can be observed in the process. The constant, infinite motion resembles structures inspired by natural phenomena.
