Recordar e Homenagear Maria Lamas cria uma sensação de contribuição para uma historia muitas vezes ignorada.
Partindo de uma proposta por parte do Municipio de Serpa para criar um Mural em Vila Nova de São Bento para celebrar o dia Municipal para a Igualdade, mergulhei na vida de Maria Lamas. Senti-me honrado por lhe criar um Mural que nos ajuda a manter a sua memória e luta presentes na sociedade Portuguesa Contemporânea. A utilização de três retratos durante o seu encarceramento nas prisões da Pide deu o mote para que essa imagem fosse a melhor lembrança do que acontece a quem luta por igualdade em tempos de repressão. A luta de Maria Lamas é cada vez mais importante nos tempos que vivemos. Trazer para o presente a cor digital de um passado a preto e branco, transforma a rua e a vida tão subjugada aos media diários das nossas televisões e smartphones. A voz das mulheres portuguesas terá sempre em Maria Lamas uma afirmação de empatia e força para combater as lutas que se aproximam...
