🚘Meet Romario Euceda (@romario_euceda ), an auto collision repair technology student at Ozarks Tech’s Career Center and Sparta High School. He’s headed to the state @skillsusamo competition in April after taking first place at district.
💬“Last year, I placed third. This year, I told everyone I was going to win — and I did. I competed in the Body category, and my main focus areas were welding, dent removal, body filler, using a tram gauge and completing a professional interview. I felt very confident in my work.
The most challenging part was finding time to prepare for the @skillsusa as we still had to do schoolwork. Being on a 3 – 4 hour time crunch was challenging.
My favorite part about taking classes at Ozarks Tech is gaining hands-on experience. After finishing my associate degree next, I plan to start my career in the auto collision world.
All of the teachers here are great. Make sure you listen to them – they’re amazing! Make sure you get your work done but have fun, too.”
🙌Good luck to Romario as he represents Ozarks Tech at state!
Everyone knows the OG song for CPR is “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees, but really any track with 100–120 beats per minute works for chest compressions.
💙That includes the new favorite “Golden” from K-Pop Demon Hunters. Ozarks Tech Paramedicine students show us how it’s done (#sorrynotsorry for the jump scare).🦅

👏Congratulations to our Associate of Science in Nursing graduates!
Your persistence and dedication have been rewarded. Here's to the next phase of your adventure!
Graduation is a family affair! A father and son duo also crossed the stage at Ozarks Tech tonight.
Kevin Cox, an Ozarks Tech adjunct instructor, graduated alongside his son, Gabriel, during the 7 p.m. ceremony. Kevin earned his associate degree in electrical technology, while Gabriel completed a certificate.
Kevin plans to continue teaching at Ozarks Tech, while Gabriel will continue working with his father at their family electrical business in Ava.
Congratulations!
