Had a brilliant time at @fortgreenepark for Poetry in the Park 2026 leading my Haiku Poetry Walk. 🌳
Shout out to @najeeomar on the curation and all the wonderful poets saving the world.
Gratitude goes toward @wisconsinpublicradio@wisconsinlife_tvradio for allowing me space to share a poem called, “Muerto De Sed”. In a world where war is treated as necessity, I hope this poem about volunteering at @bowerymission brings a little light and humanity to your day. Link in bio to listen to the story and poem.

@kan.yama.kan.bk fundraiser was a success and the spot was made warm with everyone that came out. This community has been such a constant for me in the past few years and I couldn’t be more grateful. All featured artists for this next season will be getting paid babyyyyy!
kan yama kan started as a backyard gathering in the summer of the pandemic. it has been a labor of love, a co-creation, an experiment in community and art. we are so excited to be holding our first fundraiser on January 31! let’s get artists paid ✨✨ tickets in bio
Can’t believe I’d start 2025 making my debut as a tour director and having to be hospitalized days before the production hit the road. It set a precedence for my health and being kinder to myself in general.
This year would eventually welcome my Off Broadway directing debut, take me back to Milwaukee to direct at the Todd Wehr Theater, and would end with a dope experience as a fellow for the Hell’s Kitchen North American Tour. 💛
I have no idea what the next year will bring but looking forward to it all.

Entering the 36th Chamber this year, and I’ve never felt more wise, more prepared for this earth, more grateful for the humans who choose to stay, more honored to walk this path.
