Aug24 // Just realised I haven't put any photos on here for a full year - apologies in advance for the large number of posts I'm about to unleash so I can catch up // Photographed here is: my loved ones, a holiday to Devon, climbing and T-Climbing antics, a summer school on English Lit I taught, the end of my internship at Maggs, a wildly exciting visit to Wormsley Library (to be clear: that is a first Folio Shakespeare, a page from the Gutenberg Bible, the first book printed in Europe, and a Kelmscott vellum Chaucer) and, of course, Poldy 💕
Hello!! I'm very excited to launch today a fundraiser for my extraordinary girlfriend and one of the central organisers of @transclimbing , @dykepansy . Maddie is one of the most incredible women I have ever met, a sentiment I know is shared by so many others who know her, and this year she is turning 30 - I want more than anything for her to enter the next decade with the confidence and comfort that she so thoroughly deserves, and this fundraiser is how we can make that happen.
Gender affirming healthcare of the kind she needs is not readily available on the NHS, and so this fundraiser is what will make getting Facial Feminisation Surgery, laser and continued fertility treatment possible.
I mean it when it I say that the world will be a better place for the happiness and security these procedures will afford Maddie. Even if you haven't met her, know that every donation and every share of this fundraiser will make more loveable the life of someone whose heart I share. I personally know how lifechanging a fundraising campaign like this can be, and, with two weeks before my surgery, I know intrinsically that Maddie deserves the same opportunity I have been given.
And, for those already asking - yes, FACE///OFF 2 will be in the works ☠️
Link is in my bio - please, share far and wide.
Love you, sweetie 💕
