It has been a full spring! Thankful for a good calving season, a little water in Miller Creek, the rain we did get, these amazing animals we work with every day, our wonderful community and the opportunity to be able to live this life.

With this past week's subzero temperatures we poured high quality alfalfa to our cows so they could meet their energy requirements to stay warm. A cow in good body condition doesn't need to burn any energy to stay warm until the temperature drops below 19 degrees. With temperatures moving back up this stock piled grass will meet their requirements. They seem so much happier grazing too. We have 2 home raised virgin, yearling bulls for sale, this is #746. They have never been on anything other than pasture. They are out of two of our favorite home raised cows now 6 and 7 years old. These cows breed up in their first cycle and maintain their body condition while asked to year round graze. They raise phenomenal grass finished beef and have great temperaments. Their sire is an excellent calving ease bull that we use on our first year heifers, he is the dominant bull in our herd and an overall meat wagon!
