Installing the Mouse House.
My good pal, and frequent collaborator, @minkerbayer made this amazing mouse house for a show we were both in at the Springville Museum of Art last year. After the show I adopted the lil guy. He’s been living at my shop. This weekend I finally built his permanent home. He seems to have settled in well. Mostly keeps to himself. Reading books and investigating tiny crimes.

We made a tiny gallery hoping we’d find a missing brick somewhere in London to give it a temporary home. Found a spot on Brick Lane in Shoreditch. New show at The Tiny Gallery opening TOMORROW. To herald in that good news, The Tiny Times newspaper box got a little love.
It takes a silly amount of work to make something look old and forgotten.
I made a big version on my Messy Hair Angel to hang on the house this year. She is up there to play a tune for this season of merriment and melancholy. The messy and the magical. The joy and the ache.
Because both feel holy to me.
Whatever it is you feel this season, she’s playing for you too.

This guy is new this year. His coat, shirt, and hat designed by one of my favorites, Amanda Stewart, owner of the world’s cutest toy store @mochi_kids .

@tinyartshow is magical.
18 months of planning culminated in a pretty surreal week in the desert for RISE Festival. First time at RISE for me. I am blown away by the community that creates and celebrates this each year. I was also almost literally blown away by a massive desert wind storm.
RISE is a cool event. Felt lucky to be a tiny part of it this year.
