And voila! Alas it was not the early summers day Iād of liked & my hands are still freezing BUT we have a black wall & I LOVE IT! I am so pleased @paint.outlet so pleased!
(The Specs; I used half a 5 litre can for that wall & fascia board, I chose to ignore the sprayer & used my favourite paint brush Iāve used before (a lovely old @harrisbrushes_uk that is a little squished but works brilliantly on the render) luckily the sun shone enough for it to dry pretty quickly & I will add another coat but seriously impressed for its first, now to wash the brush & Mulberryās ears & then itās time for a cup of tea.
Only 2 ENORMOUS walls to goā¦ see you next Friday!

After a good stir (initial thoughts were āWHY IS IT PURPLE? IS THIS A CRUEL JOKE? No youāve not stirred it š weāll blame Mulberry for that) it was off we go.
No stinky stinky smells, applied like a dream, washes off hands & ears very easily (š weāll blame Mulberry for that too) & youāve one (2) very happy new customers.

Welcome to this weeks episode of āFix the house Fridayā. This week thanks to the lovely people over @paint.outlet weāre (Mulberry aka the unhelpful helper) finally starting to get rid of the emulsion on the outside of the house, I too like value for money but using the same paint on the outside of the house as inside the bathroom made my eye twitch.
Since visiting Prospect Cottage in Dungeness I too have dreamt of my own black house of dreams however didnāt fancy selling a kidney to finish what weād started on the front of the house & thatās when @paint.outlet got involvedā¦ would I like to try some of their trade quality, tough, long lasting & water based paint? Yes please!

I really miss being so close to the garden in my new work space, at the last house I could leave the doors open and almost be outside. (The neighbour was a complete silly goose, madder than a bag of cats, more hopping than a box of frogs if you get my drift so we had to move) so a little reimagine. oh and I still need a chairā¦
