주제연구 및 협업, 작품실험에 관심있는 창작자분들의 많은 관심 부탁드립니다. 공모는 총 2분야로 나뉘어 진행됩니다.
01) Research Lab. 리서치랩
□ 공모대상 : 신진 기획자 1인 / 시각예술가 1인(지역제한)
□ 참여기간 : 2026년 6월 - 10월 (*9월 전시 예정)
□ 프로그램 : 세미나 4회(주제심화, 매체연구), 필드트립, 전시 관련 멘토링
□ 지원내용
◦ 기획비/창작비 1인 150만원(원천세 포함)
◦ 연구 및 전시에 필요한 프로세스 전반 지원
02) Weaving Lab. 위빙랩
□ 공모대상 : 미디어 설치 예술가 3인
(지역제한 없으나, 프로그램 참여 의무)
□ 참여기간 : 2026년 6월 - 10월 (*10월 전시 예정)
□ 프로그램 : 세미나 3회(주제심화, 매체연구), 필드트립 등
□ 지원내용
◦ 창작비 1인 250만원(원천세,예술인고용보험포함)
◦ 연구 및 전시에 필요한 프로세스 전반 지원

This residency program is concluding with an artist talk. We hope can join us! 🎨✨
Mikiboy Pama, Vincent Sarnate, Deokyong Jeong, and Younggi Seo will share insights and stories gained through weeks of exploration and community engagement.
🇰🇷 🇵🇭 Mikiboy, Vincent, Deokyong, and Younggi, have been working together as a four-artist collective in the first phase of this residency project—which continues into next year. Their time in Bacolod has been shaped by shared studio visits, ongoing conversations with local artists, and their recent participation in VIVA ExCon 2025.
As a culmination of this residency program, there will be a collaboration exhibition by these four artists, and a forum for the presentation of the research results, in Gwangju, South Korea.

Ending the last quarter of our residency schedule with friends from Korea. Twelve years into our exchange with The OverLab, they’re here once again to immerse themselves in the Island.
For this residency, they’ll keep things light: a month-long stay for open research and quiet rest.
As Seonyoung shared, “The OverLab. is in Bacolod for a month.” 🌾
