This year at @horstartsandmusic our Sensory Rave Spa hosts a 12-minute multisensory meditation designed by Overflow and sound artist Jeena, offered at select times throughout the day.
Combining voice, custom neuroacoustic sound design, vibration, light, scent, and air, this immersive experience invites the body into a slower rhythm of receiving.
Inspired by the pacing of breath and the movement of water, it uses gentle waves of sensation to encourage stillness, softness, and embodied attention. A space to arrive through the senses.
@jeena.wav is a Palestinian-Canadian musician, sound artist and sound therapist creating sonic worlds at the intersection of ritual, trance, and neuroacoustics. Her work moves between ambient, electronic, and live performance, dissolving the boundary between meditative listening and nightlife. Through layered textures, voice, and frequency, she creates spaces that invite presence, reflection, and embodied listening. Based in Berlin, Jeena approaches sound as an environment rather than a genre, shaping experiences that can be felt as much as heard.
Sneak peak of this years pre-production for @horstartsandmusic ⛲️🍋🔊
This year we’ve been inspired by the patterns of nature - be that the rhythm of water, the dance of microbes or the frequencies that transport us 🌀
We have some special surprises in store and can’t wait to host you at our oasis at the heart of the festival next week💧
Excited to bring our Sensory Rave Spa back to @horstartsandmusic next month 🧖🏽♀️⛲️🥒
This year our work is shaped by the pull of the water, the weight of rhythm and the energy of living cultures 🦠
More announcements on that soon…
Hope to see some of you there 🌼🐞🦋🌷
2025 was a year of listening.
To our bodies.
To our community.
To the limits of what care can look like when it’s built without enough support.
We learned that community care can’t be sustained through self-sacrifice alone.
And that softness has to apply to the people creating the space, not just those inside it.
As we move into 2026, we’re slowing down, refining the architecture, and choosing sustainability over speed.
Listening first, so there’s something left to give 🫂
Some final memories from our last Sensory Rave Spa 🌿🫧🧖🏽♀️⛲️
For those just joining us, here’s a glimpse of what Overflow feels like ✨
Sensory Rave Spa is about easing the nervous system, inviting all the senses to relax 💆🏻♀️
Sound guides you into the present, shaping a journey from day into night, a horizontal, dreamlike flow of genres and energies.
Endless gratitude to the artists whose music made this journey possible. 🌙
A winter cocoon of sound, scent and shared rest. From sauna heat and aromatherapy to ethereal, brain-tingling sounds, this final edition for 2025 unfolded as a slow, nourishing descent inward.
Thank you to Bambi, Loket, Marylou and Felix Thiemann for guiding the journey, and to all of the team, helpers, masseuses and everyone who came to soften, listen and exhale with us 🌊

Ever tried to think your way out of a feeling? It rarely works, because your body runs your nervous system, not your thoughts.
🌀💦🔊🐬💙
Somatic work uses movement and rhythm to settle your body so your mind can follow.
We are bringing somatic practices into a full club setting. Lights, bass, and a sound system you feel in your chest.
A space to move stress through your body without needing a whole night out.
Tamara (tamypro) has been DJing and putting on raves for years — now she’s a licensed therapist and brings both worlds together in Somatic Rave.
You’ll be guided through breath, shaking, rhythm, and full-body release, supported by music that actually moves you.
// Dec 4 @ Fitzroy RA Tickets in bio.
Limited capacity, space to move, breathe 🦋
These wonderful musicians will be soundtracking our next Sensory Rave Spa in just under 2 weeks 🧖🏽♀️⛲️🌿💦

Bambi — DJ set
Don’t be fooled by the doe eyes; Bambi’s sets channel 90s rave spirits with trance, dub and deep techno. A former violinist and hip-hop dancer, she’s shaped her sound through Europe’s sweatiest dancefloors, and promotes safer nightlife through Reinvent The Night and the zine Flashes. With residencies at Macadam, Hors-Sol, Rinse France and Berlin’s Hypersoft series, her cosmic, progressive sets always deliver.
⸻
loket — DJ set & saxophone
Lower-case and higher-vibes, loket is the saxophonic alias of Tahl Klainman; a versatile presence in the Berlin & LA alternative and underground scene and one of the few saxophonists to jam live on a peak-time Panorama Bar dancefloor. After featuring on Massimiliano Pagliara’s award-winning LP, his EP All Ages (CWPT, 2023) reimagined trip-hop and electronic futurism. His live shows are immersive journeys of saxophone and experimental electronics — with a new release, Healthy Normal, arriving in 2026.
⸻
Marylou — DJ set
French-born and Berlin-based, Marylou is known for boundary-free, psychedelic DJ sets that move from traditional music and improv jazz to noise, dub, bass and breakcore. A member of Wheel Of Fortune (with CCL, rRoxymore & Nono Gigsta), her daring selections have reached Atonal, CTM, Freerotation, Cafe Oto and Berghain. Celebrated for cinematic and experimental performances, she has earned the respect of selectors like Donato Dozzy, Konduku and Vladimir Ivkovic.

Felix Thiemann — Cello
Cellist of the Orbis Quartett, Felix reshapes chamber music by blending classical repertoire with global traditions, sung and played. Trained with the Artemis Quartett in Berlin, he has toured Europe with orchestras and explored cross-disciplinary performance, from dance collaborations to live painting. Through solo cello, he dives into baroque reflections and contemporary soundscapes.
