I went on a trip to Devils Lake last week and went off the beaten path to find this boulder that had a beautiful rail on its underside!

I first sent this a few weeks ago and didn't get a video - my first ever v7 rated climb! Sending v7 before I've spent a year on climbing makes me hopeful for the future :) Here's to v8 before the year's done!

This one is just full of big moves and you just have to trust yourself! If I thought too much about how high up I was with minimal feet I would get in my own way.
Really starting to send more v6s, focusing on body placement and weight distribution
This was a super fun one set over at FA Avondale that was tripping up a lot of people, but I found some good beta that really worked for me!

Today I climbed my first ever v6-graded boulder problem. This video is the very first time I sent it! I was super psyched but it really made me reflect on how far I've come in this sport since starting last summer, and how much work has gone in for me to be able to do a climb like this.
I set a goal for myself a few weeks ago to climb a v6 boulder by the end of the year - a goal that felt unattainable - and completed it with time to spare. The next goal is v7 by next summer, and we'll see how that goes :)
Black v5 - First Ascent Avondale
I love a lot of the problems that the setters over at Avondale put on these walls - super creative and very different than most others I've climbed!
This was a really fun one but felt a little soft, the holds were just too good
