Outside Observations presents our first artist collaboration within the Archive: Widline Cadet.
Born in Pétion-Ville, Ayiti and currently based in the United States, Cadet’s multidisciplinary practice spans photography, video, sound, sculpture, performance, and installation. Her work centers her family’s lived experience of immigrating from Haiti to the United States to explore memory, inheritance, survival, and the complexities of Black diasporic life.
For this collaboration, the OO Archive expands into a dedicated presentation of Cadet’s work, featuring previously unseen images and videos offering a closer look into Widline’s creative process.
Launching alongside the collaboration is OO Radio: Mostly Love Songs (009) — a guest-curated episode by Cadet.
