How it started —> Five years ago today, a group of friends took a leap of faith and took ownership of an historic Fawnskin lodge. ✨
Since then, The Outpost has become a place to gather and a basecamp for adventure, creativity and community on the North Shore of Big Bear Lake. From cabin stays and wedding celebrations to dualsport ride weekends, lake days and late-night hangs, The Outpost has evolved far beyond what we imagined on that snowy March morning in 2021. ✨
To everyone who has stayed here, celebrated here, ridden here, said “yes!” here, hosted events here or simply stopped by to say hello — THANK YOU for being part of our story. ✨
What fun to take a moment to look back on how far we’ve come and be proud of the passion, energy and sweat we’ve poured into this place. Thank you to everyone who’s swung a hammer, stained a fence, redecorated a cabin or trusted us to host their event or big day. We could not have done this without our village of friends and family. ✨
