In honor of Dave Gahan @theimposter of @depechemode âs birthday, hereâs a clip from the video I directed for the haunting lead single from his album Hourglass - âSaw Somethingâ.
Interesting fact, not only was it shot almost entirely on location in the legendary @hotelchelsea (before they tarted it up), but also in the very room Sid and Nancy lived⊠and died in (Nancy).
Shot on the super high-speed Phantom camera by @shawnkimdp . Colored by @tomopoole . Apologies to the rest of the crew for no credits, itâs been a long time!
We Are Hunters - Imaad Wasif @imaadwasif
There was something in the air the night we filmed, a kind of madness best to stay home and avoid. The streets were empty, only the crazies left, Imaad one of them. The spirit took him to a place of conviction and it shows. The fear, exhaustion, all real.

How lucky am I? My first commissioned music video was for garage legends, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
The label didnât have much $$$ but needed a video for new single, âShe Saidâ from Plastic Fang (2002). When you have Jon Spencer, Judah Bauer and Russell Simins, you donât need much, just a Bolex and a few rolls of expired 16mm.
Filmed live at Londonâs legendary 100 Club.
Happy Birthday to @therealmickrock , whirling endlessly in sky, cookin up dazzling glamtastic hurricanes wherever your spirit roams. We miss the madness! đ€đ€đ€
Ennio Morricone (b. 11/10/1928) was no doubt the greatest composer of the last 100 years. His work resonates across modern music like no other. He was a classicist, a maker of pop and an adventurer of avant garde. He crossed every genre, working with B-movie kings to the greatest European auteurs. His crowning work will always be his partnership with meistro Sergio Leone - together they took cinema to its highest, most operatic form.
I saw Morricone perform twice, the final time being shortly before he died. It was at the miraculous Terme Di Caracalla in Rome (slide 2). One of the most beautiful and memorable concerts of my life.
