Nycogaze - A cotton contemplating nothingness. Any lighter and this fabric might disappear. At 80gsm it’s by far the lightest knit we’ve ever used. The secret is the corespun yarn, 70% cotton by weight, wrapped tightly around a fine nylon filament and enzyme basted to burn away any fuzzy flyaways. Knit in Italy by Brugnoli, these yarns are used to create a jersey that is hyper-light yet robustly durable for its weight. The handfeel is dry and almost starchy but also nearly weightless and impossibly breathable. Visually it’s not really a gauze but it’s on the way there, with a light translucency that provides a rather sultry amount of coverage. At UPF 5 in Black it provides rather modest sun protection as well.
Injex Splitshorts
A barely there shorts experiment [#588] with split sides and stripped down details. The Injected Linen fabric is open yet opaque. Features an elastic waistband with paracord+3Bar adjustment, but there are no pockets and the seams are mostly raw cut to shed bulk and weight. Strictly for the bold and shameless.
Injex Midis
A pant that wears like a short, in a cut loose-but-not-too-loose experiment [#586]. The Injected Linen fabric is remarkably open to the air yet opaque to the eye. Linen’s dry touch and beautiful aging character meets a radical warp-knit weft-insertion technique to create an ideal summer pant.
Cannabiscotton Cruisers
A spacious and stretchy hemp-cotton pant experiment [#584]. The Cannabiscotton fabric is woven in Italy from hemp cut with cotton and stretched with elastane to create an easy wear fabric with a cool touch. The Cruiser cut features a hybrid elastic+shank waistband, a roomy fit with pleated knee articulation and 3Bar + shockcord adjusts at the bottom opening. A big fifth pocket, key loop and belt loops add extra versatility.
Sunwarp Sunguard
A tight and gusseted longsleeve sunblock you can wear. The Sunwarp fabric is soft, extremely stretchy and quick drying with a UPF of 50+. The Sunguard cut is long and raw cut at the hem and cuffs. A high neck and underarm gussets maximize coverage even in extreme motion.
