Pulled up to this pastel Vietnamese spot @muigogai.restaurant and yeah… it’s giving main character energy. Soft colors, clean plates, and food that actually slaps. Not just cute for the pics it passes the taste test too. If you’re tryna eat good and look good doing it, this one’s a yes. #VancouverEats #PastelAesthetic #VietnameseFood #piggiegiveaway

They finally let me in the content creator game, and it’s about time. Introducing The Vibe Check, your all-access pass as I dive headfirst into new spots, restaurants, and activities. From hidden gems to the hottest must-tries, I’m here to eat, explore, and maybe embarrass myself a little, all in the name of good vibes. Think of it as part foodie, part adventure, part “do I really need to be doing this?” But trust me, I’m bringing the energy, the laughs, and of course, the real vibe. Got to check out this gem right by the crib. Your boy ate and left no crumbs for real. Thank you to  @katsuya_canada for having me. The big back activities were immaculate. Drop your recs for where I should check next and let’s see if it passes the vibe check.

How did I get here? I had to really sit with that question. Not to blame anything or anyone, but to be honest with myself. I found myself back in a cycle I thought I already broke. Same habits creeping in, just dressed differently. For a second, it was easy to point at everything else, but I knew that wasn’t the truth. Life slowed me down and forced me to reflect. I got tired of it. Tired of falling short, tired of letting people down, but more than anything, tired of not showing up for myself the way I know I can. So I had to check myself. No more excuses. Just real discipline, real focus, and doing what needs to be done whether I feel like it or not. My plan for the rest of the year is simple Move with purpose, not just off how I feel Stay consistent even when it’s not exciting Be more intentional with my time and energy Hold myself accountable in every area Actually become who I keep saying I want to be I’m not starting over, I just understand it better now.

You aren’t behind… you are becoming. In all honesty I hated shooting this episode. Not because I hate creating. But I feel I suck as communicator but these are the growing pains. Being slacking on and fell behind on dropping a video each week so I decided to film this week regardless of how I felt. I stumbled a lot and hate how I sound but I reminded myself this is what it takes to evolve and become the version of myself that is required. I’m just getting the reps in I suck now but 6 months from now best believe I’m not gonna suck. Remember you aren’t behind your are just one the way of becoming you need to be the best version of yourself. Check out the full episode dropping tomorrow.

Idk who needs to hear this… This video is evidence of this I hate how the audio turned out and almost did not post it Just post it.Not when it’s perfect. Not when you feel ready. Not when you think people will finally get it. Now. Because the only way it gets better is if it exists. The only way you grow is if you’re seen. And the only thing worse than posting something “mid”…is letting fear keep your gifts invisible. Post it. Someone out there needs what you almost didn’t share.

“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.” No man ever steps in the same river twice, because the river keeps moving and so do we. Every season, every challenge, every quiet shift changes who we are becoming. Growth is subtle, but it’s constant. You’re not who you were and that’s the point. It’s been a real journey. You can see it in this video .I went from not being confident in front of the mic, with terrible audio and visuals, to now. I’m still not perfect, but you can’t deny we’ve leveled up. I’ve become a better communicator, and the visuals speak for themselves. I just need to work on consistency. This is a reminder to enjoy each moment and remember: it’s about becoming better, not chasing perfection.

Count It All Joy Life has been a real roller coaster lately. I found myself isolating and getting distracted again. Creating content started to feel like something I had to do, which made it feel inauthentic. Then I came across a post that made me pause because of how vulnerable it was. I realized I haven’t been vulnerable on here in a while. This carousel holds thoughts and feelings I’ve had during my time of reflection. For a while, I was releasing some of these emotions in the gym. It worked until I started leaning into my faith again. That’s where the phrase count it all joy comes from. I was reminded of this quote in the middle of all the moments and emotions. In the times I failed, felt lost, hurt, betrayed, or defeated, I would remind myself: “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well developed, not deficient in any way.” Maybe it’s just me, or maybe you came across this post because you can relate to some or all of these feelings. Keep going. Push through. On the other side of those emotions is a reward you won’t receive if you quit.

Last week I got the chance to attend the first FriBelly Social @creativebellystudios hosted by @vancouvers_foodbelly It’s a space for local Vancouver creatives who are looking to find their tribe and build real connections. FriBelly Social is a laid back creator hang built for genuine conversation. If you’re building, creating, or thinking differently, definitely pull up to the next one on March 6th. What stood out to me was how intentional everything felt. The room was curated with purpose. I had meaningful conversations, met new friends, reconnected with familiar faces, and felt fully in my creative element. I left energized and ready to chase my creative goals with clarity. Big shoutout to @vancouvers_foodbelly for creating space for connection in a city that can sometimes feel isolating. And thank you to @lesleyannparris for sharing it on your stories. I probably wouldn’t have gone without that post.
