Sold. Lorraine DeProspo’s 40x40” ‘Sweet Mystery Calling’ was alluring enough to a collector of Lorraine’s work to make a special trip from Boston to stand quietly in front of this piece. Her works are windows of sorts, framed moments of our Outer Cape skies. And at this particular size, it invites the viewer to step into the space she’s created. Her skill with cold wax and oil paint lend a luminescence to her pieces, giving different depths and textures under various intensities of light. See Lorraine’s other works in the gallery and online.
