Our next release is coming your way 02/13. We’re excited to have @_odd_world on the roster, bringing you this lush, UKG edit. OddwOrld is a Brooklyn based producer and DJ who has become a familiar face in the local electronic music scene, well known for his seamless blending of multiple genres within his sets, as well as his releases. Most recently, he found placement on the @dreamstation.fm Breakcore playlist, as well as a release with Paris based label @etherealtempo . OddwOrld has been a recurrent performer for @bklovesukg , as well as many other established party series in the area. In a land of heavy bass-led singles, OddwOrld’s next goal was to expand his horizons in the land of Garage. His edit of the luscious ambient track “Silent” by @outerdarkmusic , the ambient alias of Brooklyn producer @lovelydaze69 , seemed like the obvious next step. The track pushes against the grain of traditional UK garage, introducing ambient and harmonic elements that aren’t typically found in the modern garage scene. While the track is a call back to the origins of the genre, it’s thumpy enough to keep up with its contemporaries and provide a unique listening experience.
