B-boys and B-girls from different cities and states came together to battle. Hip-hop lives through the people who keep showing up, passing it on, and keeping the culture in motion.
Happy 48OC day , Hip hop gave us a language, Breaking gave us identity, But the crew gave us purpose. We grew up together.
We pushed each other, We became better not just as dancers, but as leaders, as individuals. 22 years later, and we’re still here.

Many times we focus on the extrinsic goals of our battles (reppin, winning, showing others how fresh we are). But what happens when we focus on the INTRINSIC goals.. how breakin’ and the music makes us feel and our reasons that we keep hitting the floor, even after all the injuries and losses. The high you get off of just creating and “catching the ghost” on the spot. At this point, we can experience enjoyment and the truth in our art, even in times of high pressure and stress. At that moment we are free 🤘🏽
