Never in a million years would I have thought running would get me to Tokyo. Training for Tokyo has been a rough road, managing work,school, and winter training came with many sacrifice.

I would be lying if I told you I love running. It’s the challenging journey that excites me. Your biggest battles will always be with the one that’s holding you back aka yourself.
Through this journey I been inspired by many. I used to think running was a lonely sport until I met amazing people along the way. It is a huge community of runners that support each other.
Running the half marathon while fasting was definitely a struggle more mental than physical. My goal was to finish the race before the end of surat Al Baqara.2:15. Surprisingly I surpassed my expectations finishing in 1:59. Alhamdullah all praise to Allah🤲🏾.
