The heat advisories started early this year 😞
Every Arizonan deserves care and water. Unfortunately, with our state's rising temperatures, heat-related deaths are increasing — impacting low-income and unsheltered neighbors the most. Amid Phoenix's new restrictions on water distribution to unsheltered neighbors in parks, support for water distro organizations and mutual aid groups is needed more than ever.

All of us need a vacation — that's what we all filled out on our bingo cards😄
Thank you to all the women and femme-identifying leaders who joined our Women in Office Happy Hour this week! We learned that some of our families think we run the country 😄
Most all, we were reminded that leading our communities is within all of us.
💗💗💗
We hope to host more events that bring leaders together!

Seven years of building power, investing in leaders, and growing alongside community. ✨
From trainings and fellowships to partnerships, convenings, and everything in between — every conversation, road trip, and shared moment has shaped who we are today. We’re deeply grateful for the people and organizations who have built with us along the way.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking ahead. The work continues, and the future we’re building together is even bigger.
Here’s to the next seven. 🥂
Happy Earth Day! 🪴🌵🌀
We are celebrating the legacy of Hazel M. Johnson, Mother of Environmental Justice — Black Feminist, Data-Driven Researcher, and Community Organizing Hero. 💗✊🏽 Hazel's lived experience as a Black woman and the research she conducted with her community confirmed that environmental r @ c i s m issues don't live in a vacuum - it impacts all aspects of low-income and communities of color's lives, from healthcare, housing, to material conditions, and life expectancy.
Feeling inspired by Hazel's story? Us too! Let us know how you are taking care of the Earth and your neighbors this #earthDay 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Repost @arizonapbs and @gilarivertv
It's important to know about the original people of what we know as central and southern Arizona.
The Akimel and Tohono O'odham are of the same family but they have cultural, geographic, and historical differences. Jivik Siik, a cultural teacher explains the differences but also the commonalities too.
You are on native land every day.
A special thanks to the
